Braunton Library is a popular and vibrant community space open six days a week, with volunteers running the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The library is alive with regular groups such as Lego Club, Wii Club, Bounce and Rhyme, story time, knit, craft and natter, a monthly film club, colouring and coffee plus extra children’s craft sessions in the holidays, all held within the dedicated children’s library.

The library also holds author visits, IT sessions, reading groups for adults and children as well as schemes like Book Track and Book Crawl. The library regularly updates displays and information to help visitors find new and interesting books, audiobooks, DVD’s, large print books.

The library is fully accessible and has a small pay and display car park next door.

Storyboard Workshop with A.C. Winfield

Would you like to take part in a Storyboard Workshop ? It will involve an audio and visual talk with local children’s author A.C. Winfield and a game to help create characters before writing your story. You can illustrate it too if you would like. This Storyboard Workshop will take place at Braunton Library on Wednesday 29 May, 1.30 – 3pm Suitable for age 6 - 12 year olds There will be the opportunity to purchase her books. Tickets are £1 each from Braunton library.
