Crediton Library is open five days a week and is fully accessible to all, with off-road parking, including disabled space. Aside from a wide range of fiction and non-fiction book titles, the library offers DVDs and audiobooks to borrow which can all be issued using the self-service points.

The library has a small study area with free Wi-Fi, including 9 public access computers, which are free to use for up to 2 hours each day, plus printing, photocopying and scanning facilities. There are a range of regular events for all ages, both social and various informal learning activities, such as Baby Bounce and Rhyme, knitting group, Lego Club and reading groups for adults and younger readers.

Katerina O'Connor will be reading from her book ‘Foody Tales’. The book is a combination of a story and recipe book in one, with magical stories for families to share and easy recipes to prepare. The aim is to encourage children to try foods by reading a magical tale together and then preparing the recipe.
