A Talk by Novelist Anne Allen

We are pleased to announce that Friends of Dawlish Library have organised a talk by novelist Anne Allen. Tickets are £4 and should be purchased in advance from Dawlish Library or book by emailing d.a.gore@ex.ac.uk Anne’s novels are set in Guernsey which she knows well, having lived there for nearly fourteen years, when she fell in love with the island and its people. She has written six Guernsey novels and a seventh – ‘The Inheritance’ will be published in 2018. They are a mix of family drama, mystery and love and her books have a wide appeal to readers of all ages. Anne’s books do form a series but each is a stand alone story. In effect they form a saga of Guernsey from the German occupation to the present day. Anne Allen lives in Devon by the sea, which she loves.
