Dawlish Library is a welcoming community space where you can borrow books, DVDs and audiobooks, and meet lots of people at the library’s regular events. There are 11 public computers which are free to use for up to 2 hours a day, and the library offers scanning, printing and copying facilities.

There is free Wifi throughout the building, a quiet study area for those looking for a relaxing space and separate areas for children and teens. The library hold regular children’s events, clubs and activities all year round.

Memory Cafe at Dawlish Library

The Library Memory Cafe is open for anyone with even mild memory problems to join us at the library, usually on the 2nd Monday each month from 2.00 - 4.00p.m. for a session of games, singing, crafts and companionship, tea and cake.

Using historical details about the growing of and trade in violets, she explores the hardships and rewards of the lives of the violet producers.
