Find out more about Sam Walker:
Sam Walker is a musician, composer and filmmaker. He has spent much of his life touring the world performing to audiences of all sizes, both as a solo performer with his one man multi-instrumental show and as a collaborative musician with multi-million selling artists such as The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Charlie Winston, Fischer Z and many more.
Sam enjoys exploring new territories and adventuring into arenas that have not yet been performed in and has played in many unusual spots including gardens, rooftops, forests and stairwells. He is a member of composing and improvisation collective Adventurists who are currently working with publishers worldwide to create music for film and television.
Sam also makes films of all shapes and sizes. He is currently the filmmaker in residence with the Old Skills New Ways outdoor learning project in Devon and has been making music videos and short documentaries based around music for the past 5 years.
During the first lockdown, in the absence of real touring , Sam decided to go on a "Tour to Nowhere" around his home. This resulted in a series of 33 filmed performances in different spaces around his house exploring different film and musical avenues.
He lives in Devon with his wife and two small children.
