Braunton Library is a popular and vibrant community space open six days a week, with volunteers running the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The library is alive with regular groups such as Lego Club, Wii Club, Bounce and Rhyme, story time, knit, craft and natter, a monthly film club, colouring and coffee plus extra children’s craft sessions in the holidays, all held within the dedicated children’s library.

The library also holds author visits, IT sessions, reading groups for adults and children as well as schemes like Book Track and Book Crawl. The library regularly updates displays and information to help visitors find new and interesting books, audiobooks, DVD’s, large print books.

The library is fully accessible and has a small pay and display car park next door.

Join us in the library for chair yoga. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. With some felt tips and ballpoint pens surprise yourself ! All materials provided. Jean trained as a Further Education Teacher and taught for many years. She paints for her own enjoyment now and teaches an occasional class. 1.30 - 3.30pm Wednesday 29 January 2020 £2 per person, sign up in the library.
