Crediton Library is open five days a week and is fully accessible to all, with off-road parking, including disabled space. Aside from a wide range of fiction and non-fiction book titles, the library offers DVDs and audiobooks to borrow which can all be issued using the self-service points.

The library has a small study area with free Wi-Fi, including 9 public access computers, which are free to use for up to 2 hours each day, plus printing, photocopying and scanning facilities. There are a range of regular events for all ages, both social and various informal learning activities, such as Baby Bounce and Rhyme, knitting group, Lego Club and reading groups for adults and younger readers.

Our Place in Space

‘Our Place in Space’ looks at our Solar System. Come and find out about its position within the Milky Way Galaxy and how it was formed. Learn about the different planets and make a planet model and planet collage picture to take home. The Virtual Reality part of the workshop will transport you into an amazing 3D Virtual Space World and promises to be a mind blowing experience of discovery. ‘Our Place in Space’ is delivered by Jo Richardson of Space Detectives Astronomy Workshops. She is the ESERO-UK Space Ambassador for the South West and has a life-long passion for Astronomy and Space. Please book and pay in advance at Crediton Library.
