Crediton Library is open five days a week and is fully accessible to all, with off-road parking, including disabled space. Aside from a wide range of fiction and non-fiction book titles, the library offers DVDs and audiobooks to borrow which can all be issued using the self-service points.

The library has a small study area with free Wi-Fi, including 9 public access computers, which are free to use for up to 2 hours each day, plus printing, photocopying and scanning facilities. There are a range of regular events for all ages, both social and various informal learning activities, such as Baby Bounce and Rhyme, knitting group, Lego Club and reading groups for adults and younger readers.

Learn how to lure imps, create worlds, and discover the monsters that wait in the shadows...Bring all your burning questions to the Q&A event, and come prepared with a paper and pen to bring your own creatures to life. This event will take place online on Thursday 4 March at 10am and is a rare chance for children to be able to directly question a highly respected children's author.
