Cullompton Library is part of the Hayridge Centre, located in the heart of the town. It is accessible six days a week, through the innovative Open+ system, which allows customers to enter and use the library when staff are not present.

The Hayridge Centre includes a cafe with an attractive patio garden, and a number of well-equipped meeting rooms which are available for hire. The Library includes a wide selection of books (including large print and audiobooks) for loan, a well-stocked children's library, DVDs to hire for a small fee, a self-service photocopier, and 11 public access computers free to use for 2 hours each day. Free WiFi is available throughout the building and the library hosts a regular programme of events for children and adults.

About Open+

Open+ enables access to the building and facilities during unstaffed hours using your library card and PIN. If you would like to use the library or meeting rooms out of hours, please see a member of staff or email us for more details. The service is available to people aged 16 and over. Please contact us if you are interested in using Open+.

Culm Vale Dementia Friendly Community with Reading Well Books on Prescription for Dementia .Join us in sharing information on what we can all do to help friends, family and people in our communities who are living with dementia. Culm Vale Dementia Friendly Community will drop in during the week to give advice and guidance to our customers. Suggested reading and information will be on display in the library. Libraries are a good place to find out about services, groups and self-help available locally for people affected by dementia.

Exmoor Zoo's Alien Creatures!

Space may seem a blast to us but we are only there because of animals! Dogs, mice, fish, monkeys, cats, spiders and many more animals were in space before us. Come and play with alien like creepy crawlies and out of this world animals! Ages 3-12. Tickets £4 per child, speak to a member of staff to book your place.
