Dartmouth Library is located within The Flavel, an Arts Centre in the heart of the beautiful riverside town of Dartmouth. The library offers a wide range of facilities to residents and visitors alike and Library staff are experienced and friendly, and enjoy recommending titles for visitors of all ages, as well as helping with computer use, including scanning, printing and photocopying.

The library runs several Book Clubs, including one for the visually impaired, as well as frequent author events that are supported by the Library Friends Group. There is also a lovely children’s section, where there are regular story and craft sessions.

Memory Cafe

Memory café is run by Dartmouth caring, a friendly and informal meeting for people with memory problems and their families. Meetings are weekly, but on the first Tuesday of each month Dartmouth Library is offering a Book Club with shared reading of poems and short extracts from books with a ‘feel good’ factor.
