I.T. Drop-In

Come along for our drop-in I.T. session every Wednesday afternoon, where we have a volunteer on hand for one-to-one support, located by the entrance to the I.T. suite. Get help with your I.T. enquiries, from basic computer skills, to using the internet and creating email accounts. No need to book, just pop along on the day. Please note: during busy periods there may be a wait while our volunteer aims to assist as many people as possible.

The Book Keepers

'Meet The Book Keepers - Pippy and Lizzibella - tellers of tantalising tales and guardians of the intriguingly ingenious StoryGenerator. These intrepid explorers have been travelling the world, chasing clues and bright ideas, hunting for snippets of suspense and stealthily following unusual twists in the plot. Join them to see what secrets the StoryGenerator holds, hear their stories, create your own and bring them to life with movement and play.' This exciting children's event is suitable for ages 4-10 years. The event is free to attend, but a suggested donation of between £2 and £5 on the day would be very much appreciated. Lego Moon Rovers

To celebrate 50 years since the moon landing, Julian Surtees is running a two hour Lego and Technic Lego workshop designing and building Moon Rovers. In groups of 3, you will design and build motorised Lego Moon Rovers. Test them over a Lego moon surface, measure the distance and how long it takes. This session involves design, technology, maths, team work and collaboration. Tickets are £5 each. Suitable for children aged 6+ who must be accompanied by a paying adult (this is a great family activity!). If you’re not joining as a team, Julian will match you into a group.
