Cancellation of events

In line with the Prime Minister's speech on Monday 23rd March and to keep our staff, volunteers and customers safe and healthy, events in our libraries are cancelled. We are running some activities online, so please check with your local library to see what's on.

Come along and join in the fun at this free session of nursery rhymes and songs for under 5s. Tea and Coffee are available for a small charge. Helen (a NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor) offers support from 10am-12pm. *Helen is away from Wednesday 4th March to Wednesday 25th March inclusive and will be attending Bounce and Rhyme again from Wednesday 1st April onwards*. Calling all children. Have you heard of Booktrack? Book Track is a reading scheme for children aged 6 and over to support you in developing a love of reading and your confidence in reading. What about reading 100 books? Are you up for this challenge? Then, start reading any books of your choice, collect your personal folder from Northam Library (email or telephone for appointment to collect) if you don't have one. You will be able to collect badges and stickers as you go along and we cannot wait to hear all about your progress. Reading is fun! Enjoy! Cream and Punishment - A Devonshire Murder Mystery
Welcome all crime lovers to our second murder mystery night, featuring a deliciously dreadful drama with a dollop of Devonshire flavour. Friends, colleagues and loved ones of local business man Victor Swan gather aboard a river boat to celebrate his retirement. It's party time, however Victor also has an important announcement to make, his successor. Before this precious piece of information can be revealed, Victor is murdered! Host 'Detective' Schofield makes a return and needs YOUR help! Watch the testimony of four witnesses and assess the scene of crime report to discover the culprit. This is a virtual event, written and performed by library staff, will be hosted on our YouTube page. Every ticket holder will be emailed a unique YouTube link one day prior to the event, as well as a digital evidence report that will help you to solve the mystery. This link will grant you access to the event, so keep it safe!
