Cyber Crime Awareness

Our workshop offers impartial, nationally recognised guidance on how you can protect your organisation from cyber crime. The session will analyse case studies from investigations our unit have been involved in, and outline the steps which could have prevented those organisations from becoming victims. We will also discuss current and future threats, and explain how to defend against these. The session will be delivered in an easy to understand format with minimal ‘tech speak’ so it is suitable for all business owners. Sam works for the South West Regional Cyber Crime Unit (SW RCCU) who investigate cyber crimes where the victim is based in the South West. Her role as a Cyber Protect Officer involves supporting victims of cyber crime, as well as giving advice to organisations on protecting themselves against cyber crime. Tickets for the workshop are FREE and can be booked through <a href=Eventbrite" />
