Elite training will be providing a free 2-morning basic computer course for people who are new to computers, laptops or notebooks. The library computers will be available but you are welcome to bring your own laptop or device. Beginner's Art Workshop

Beginner's Art Workshop with Jean Leadbeater Are you a complete beginner ? Be guided step by step to achieve this painting of an old garden door. With some felt tips and ballpoint pens surprise yourself ! All materials provided. Jean trained as a Further Education Teacher and taught for many years. She paints for her own enjoyment now and teaches an occasional class. 1.30 - 3.30pm Wednesday 29 January 2020 £2 per person, sign up in the library.

Join us for half an hour of fun for children under five and their parents/carers. Nursery rhymes, action songs, rattles, shakers and a story. Just turn up! Held every Wednesday in term time. Two sessions: 9.30am - 10am or 11am - 11.30am, choose whichever suits!

This a free session where we sing songs and nursery rhymes, bounce, clap and have a good time. The activities will also help your child to develop confidence, co-ordination and listening skills. Helen, a NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor, will be offering support throughout and after these sessions until 12pm. Find help with basic IT skills, using the internet, creating email accounts, sending and receiving emails, using social media and much more. The session is not for complete beginners but is a drop in session so there is no need to book. During busy periods there may be a wait as staff and volunteers aim to assist as many people as possible during the session.
