IT Drop-In

Every Wednesday our IT Drop-in session has staff and volunteers on hand for one to one support, located in the Teen area of the library. Find help with basic IT skills, using the internet, creating email accounts, sending and receiving emails, using social media and much more. The session is not for complete beginners but is a drop in session so there is no need to book. During busy periods there may be a wait as staff and volunteers aim to assist as many people as possible during the session.

In this session PolarBear will be joined by graphic novelists Jeff Winterhart (Driving Short Distances - Penguin Books) and Katriona Chapman (Follow Me In - Avery Hill). Together they will discuss their inspiration, and how they are breaking new ground in their use of graphics and storytelling to create 3-dimensional work for this ever populat medium.
