This free-to-view website archive provides a marvellous view of the changing face of Britain during the twentieth century. The group aims to further awareness & knowledge of the archive as a resource for research & to contribute to images in a way which is informative for other viewers. Computers available or bring your own laptop. No prior computer experience necessary. No charge but participants should be members of U3A. Autobiography Writing Class

Meeting the third Tuesday of each month for the rest of 2018 we shall be running a course on writing your autobiography. February's session covers why and how with extracts from Alan Johnson's 'This Boy' and Nigel Slater's 'Toast', among others. At the end of each session a theme will be decided for you write about at home and bring back to the next meeting. Februrays subject is Parents. Refreshments available and all money goes to the library.
