On Wednesday mornings we have three one-hour slots where you can get one-on-one help with technology, such as computers, laptops, tablets and phones. These sessions are free, but booking is essential. Please call Teignmouth Library on 01626 774646, or talk to a member staff in person.

During busy periods there may be a wait as staff and volunteers aim to assist as many people as possible during the session.

Create Tech Tales at Barnstaple Library-An electronics workshop

Help us create Tech Tales at Barnstaple Library. An introduction to electronics, specifically using Arduino's to sense and control mechanisms. Arduino's are single-board micro controllers for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control both physically and digitally. Absolutely no previous experience is necessary in electronics or engineering to attend. Hopefully you will go away with the grounding ready to build your own gadgets! You will also help towards building the Tech Tales installation currently under development. There will be a range of jobs. This piece will be on display in Barnstaple library from the end of March. There are very limited spaces so be quick to sign up! Part of Evolve activity with Libraries Unlimited funded by Arts Council England. Please note that ticket sales will end at 12pm the working day before the event.
