In early January the Prime Minister announced the current lockdown. We have reviewed local information and will resume lifeline library services to support the health and wellbeing of our communities. Our Choose and Collect and Home Library Service resumes from Monday 18th January. Learn more on our Covid-19 updates page.
Our mobile libraries will not be on the road, but the mobile library team will be providing a targeted response to isolated individuals within rural communities.
Our Home Library Service delivers books to people unable to get to the library because of health, mobility or caring responsibilities.
Our Home Library Service in Devon will be offered where the volunteer is comfortable providing this service. Our volunteers will order items from the library, collect and then transport to the customer for contactless doorstep delivery.
Dedicated volunteers can choose and deliver books to your home, including large print and audiobooks, free of charge.
With so much choice, there is bound to be something to fit your interests. Whether you are an avid reader or simply like to browse the occasional books we can help.
To receive the service or become a Home Library volunteer:
