Some of our libraries host shared reading groups that are led by trained facilitators who read aloud, enabling everyone to enjoy the pleasure and benefits of personal connections with literature.

Enjoy the power of words read aloud in a small friendly group. Relax and listen while a facilitator reads aloud from old and new stories and poems and share responses over a cup of tea. These groups are for people wanting to lift their mood, and enjoy something new and supportive with others.
