No fines will apply during the period of closure, and until we reopen, the option to reserve items online has been disabled. Current loan(s) have now been extended to 31st August 2020.

Kingsteignton Library is a small, friendly community library. There is a good selection of books, from books for babies to teenagers, through to books for adults, including audiobooks and large print. The library runs a well-stocked jigsaw "swap" and a weekly Bounce and Rhyme group, in addition to running the Book Track reading scheme for children from 5 years and a Reading Group for adults.

There are 3 computers for public use and free WiFi is available throughout the building. There is a very active Friends Group that hold popular events including regular coffee mornings. The library can also be hired for events and activities out of library opening hours, at a very reasonable rates.

Bounce and Rhyme

Bounce and Rhyme is a free session that runs every Friday and is a great way to introduce your little ones to music and to help with their development and social skills. Although the session starts at 9:30 the doors are open from 9:00 and tea and coffee is available for a small donation and a chance to chat with other parents and carers.

This library is currently closed, however we are offering customers a 'Choose and Collect' service.

Please email or phone and you can collect them from the library entrance at a pre-arranged time.
