Mobile Libraries

We are planning a phased reopening of our libraries from w/c 6th July, with mobile libraries returning from 13th July (Timetable Week 1) offering a contactless Choose and Collect service. To find out what is happening at other Libraries, please follow this link - Phased reopening of Devon Libraries.

No fines will apply during the period of closure, and until we reopen, the option to reserve items online has been disabled. Current loan(s) have now been extended to 31st August 2020.

Mobile Libraries

From Monday 7th September Devon Mobile Libraries will be welcoming customers back on board their vehicles to pick their own books.  Mobile Libraries will be following their usual timetables but are unable to visit schools, nurseries and care homes for the time being.

Our four Devon Mobile Libraries visit rural communities across Devon every four weeks. Please check the Full A-Z of Stops for 2020 to find out when we are near you.

2020 Timetables

Exmouth Mobile Library (serves part of east and south Devon)

Ivybridge Mobile Library (serves part of west and south Devon)

Tiverton Mobile Library (serves part of north and east Devon)

Torrington Mobile Library (serves part of north and west Devon)

Based on patterns of use over the last 12 months, Devon Mobile Libraries new 2020 timetables will give people longer to visit at busy stops, re-site some stops at locations communities have told us they prefer, and remove underused stops. These planned changes to the timetables will come in to effect on 1st January 2020.
