Sidmouth Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (until 1pm). On Tuesday mornings the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) are in residence for drop in and appointments.

The library offers books (standard and large print), audiobooks and DVD hire, all of which can be issued at the self-service points. There is a bright, engaging children's library on the ground floor and a separate teen area. There are 12 computers which are free to use for up to 2 hours a day and printing and photocopying facilities are also available. The quiet room can be hired depending on availability.

Art Deco London: Cream Tea & Talk

Join author Sarah Obermuller-Bennett for a talk and presentation on Art Deco London. Take a tour of London’s Art Deco architecture and sculpture to see how the movement was interpreted in the capital in the 1920s and 1930s. Along the way, visit theatres, cinemas, hotels and Underground stations, as well as seeing how the style flourished even down to the finest detail. Tickets are £5 including a cream tea.
