Sidmouth Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (until 1pm). 

The library offers books (standard and large print), audiobooks and DVD hire, all of which can be issued at the self-service points. There is a bright, engaging children's library on the ground floor and a separate teen area. There are 12 computers which are free to use for up to 2 hours a day and printing and photocopying facilities are also available. The quiet room can be hired depending on availability.

Unlocking the Cage augmented reality experience, Sidmouth Library (12th-26th Jan)

At any time of year, and particularly through the School Holidays, why not hire one of our Nature Explorers Backpack, which contains magnifying glass and pot, torch, ruler and spotter sheets to help you explore any outdoor space you wish. Free to hire for up to 3 weeks, we do ask for a £5 deposit to cover losses and breakages. Happy Exploring!
