South Molton Library was built in 2008 as part of the Amory Centre which also houses the town council and North Devon District council. The library is open 5 days a week and caters to the market town of South Molton and the surrounding rural area. South Molton library holds a wide selection of books, audiobooks, DVDs and local studies stock. The library hosts a number of regular events including Lego Club, Bounce and Rhyme, computer and gadget help, reading, writing and well being groups.

The children and teen area is located at the far end of the library and has a range of stock suitable for all ages, as well as offering computer access. There are 9 computers available to access free of charge for two hours per day with printing and copying facilities.
