St Thomas Library is open five days a week and holds a variety of adult and children’s books, audiobooks and DVDs. The library can reserve items from other libraries in Devon accessing millions of books for a small fee. There is a range of children’s picture books, fiction, comic books, and audiobooks, as well as weekly singing sessions for toddlers and frequent children’s events including craft days. Book Track and the Summer Reading Challenge are active at this branch.

There are 6 computers available for free for up to two hours per day and printing, copying and scanning facilities are available with free WiFi throughout. The library can be hired for events and meetings.

Join us at St Thomas Library for a family friendly event celebrating wildlife in our local area. To link in with the Wildlife Trust’s #30DaysWild challenge we will have a variety of activities for all including stories, craft and wildlife screenings. 'Meet The Book Keepers - Pippy and Lizzibella - tellers of tantalizing tales and guardians of the intriguingly ingenious StoryGenerator. These intrepid explorers have been travelling the world, chasing clues and bright ideas, hunting for snippets of suspense and stealthily following unusual twists in the plot. Join them to see what secrets the StoryGenerator holds, hear their stories, create your own and bring them to life with movement and play.' Suitable for ages 4-10. Events are free but a suggested donation of between £2 and £5 would be much appreciated.
