St Thomas Library is open five days a week and holds a variety of adult and children’s books, audiobooks and DVDs. The library can reserve items from other libraries in Devon accessing millions of books for a small fee. There is a range of children’s picture books, fiction, comic books, and audiobooks, as well as weekly singing sessions for toddlers and frequent children’s events including craft days. Book Track and the Summer Reading Challenge are active at this branch.

There are 6 computers available for free for up to two hours per day and printing, copying and scanning facilities are available with free WiFi throughout. The library can be hired for events and meetings.

Active Life, Active Mind

During January, the 50 libraries across Devon and four libraries in Torbay will be hosting events and activities designed to get people of all ages exercising their mind, body and soul. Our annual, month long programme sees over 250 events taking place across the county, including meditation, interactive sound games, chair yoga, blood pressure checks, dance fitness sessions, singing for wellbeing, craft for adults, Dementia Friends sessions, Torbay Climate Action, Zumba and much more.
