Tiverton Library is one of the busiest libraries in Devon with over 90,000 visits a year and 100,000 items borrowed. The library is located near the bus station and shares the building on Phoenix Lane with Mid Devon District Council and Tiverton Job Centre Plus. As well as fiction and non-fiction books for adults there is a busy children’s library; a teen area with PCs and a Wii; study space; a meeting room for hire; 19 public computers and free Wi-Fi access for all.
Library members enjoy participating in the many activities that take place in the library every week for the young and young at heart: from under 5s sessions to knitting and nattering. The library is known for being a vibrant, lively and fun place to be.
