Uffculme Library will be getting a fresh new look thanks to the generosity of local supporters.

It’s hoped the new shelving, noticeboards and paintwork will enhance the library and attract new users to discover this vital community resource.

The library will be closed from Monday 16th November, 12pm and will reopen again on Monday 7th December.

Uffculme Library is a small library open six hours a week to service the local community. The library stocks an interesting range of books that is changed regularly. Visitors can also order items to collect, and return items from other libraries.

Uffculme Library offers a warm welcome to all visitors, is supported by an active Friends’ Group, hosts regular Bounce and Rhyme sessions and a monthly reading group.
